OTHER ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE

Paintball  -  You've all done it; take your mates out into the woods and shoot them.  If you haven't, you should... Available locally, Slovak style.  €5 for 1st hour, €2 for each subsequnt hour.  €4 for 50 balls.

Tarzania  -  A brilliant tree-top climbing experience.  Don a harness and lid, climb a tree, and then climb, swing, scramble, and slide your way (for 1-2 hours) through the forest from tree to tree.  Only €10. Minimum height applies - 150cm

Paragliding  -  See the mountains from the sky.  Where else can you fly in the mountains for only €65 (tandem flight).  Available all year, but subject, of course, to weather moods.  Paragliding courses available.

Liptovsky Mikulas - Relaxing in the town square. Eating ice creams and people watching.

Archery -  An opportunity to try one of man's oldest hunting activities. Suitable for all ages and levels of skills, available from April through till September. 20 minutes with full instruction included.

Climbing  -  Come and have a free climb with Dan (own gear required and at your own risk) or enrol on the local Climbing School.  Half/full/multi-day courses available.  Full instruction and equipment supplied (decent trainers or climbing shoes required). Prices from €33 for 4 hour lesson (min. 3 persons)

Or we can get you to the High Tatras National park, where more demanding climbs can be tackled.

X - Bob  -  A self-braked one-person roller coaster ride.  Odd and fast. €2 per go.

Zorbing  -  A strange past-time from the Kings of Alternative Sports - New Zealand -  that has made its way to Slovakia.  You climb into a giant inflatable ball and roll around the countryside....  Hmmm. 

Only available for large groups.

Hot Air  Ballooning -  At €265 / hour it's a bit expensive if you ask me, but apparently it could take up to 50 people in that hour....

The Chalet Slovakia Garden - Relax in the Chalet Slovakia garden. BBQ's included in an Activity Week, facitilies available for daily use, picnic benches, hammocks, swings and childrens play house and slide.

All of the above activities are available either in town or nearby.  Transportation, booking, communication and accompaniament always available, with your hosts, Clare and Dan.
