Jasna is Central Europe's No.1 ski resort with over 24 lifts, including 8 chair lifts (inc. 2x6-seaters) & 8-person gondola. The slopes offer 32km's of piste, large back bowl, a terrain park, lots of off-piste, and trees, making Jasna a perfect destination for exploring 'new Europe' and escaping over-pricing in the Alps.

For serious boarders/ skiers there are 3 large and easily accessible off-piste free-ride zones. These require a hike in and out and access some fantastic terrain.

Chalet Slovakia provides free daily transport to and from resort in our 9-seater minibus.

A first-days' mountain orientation will be available - guests are then free to organise day(s) at Jasna themselves; though we will be hot on your heels on a good powder day!

Ski lessons are arranged with Crystal Ski, in advanced or on arrival. Prices vary according to number booked and instructors are all English-speaking.

WEEKEND BREAKS - Fancy a long weekend or short break? We are able to accommodate short stays as well as week holidays.

CAVES  -  Just 7km on the road to Jasna, Demanovska Cave is open throughout the winter for a glimpse of the underworld, where cave bear bones were once thought to be those of dragons.  The longest public access cave system in Slovakia.

X - COUNTRY SKIING  -  A large network of trails exist once winter has come, some almost from our doorstep.  For those who have never done it, don't scoff; the muted peace and serenity amongst the trees is an experience like no other. Maps and guiding available.

TATRALANDIA - HOT SPRINGS Tatralandia is the largest aqua park in Central Europe, with hot pools of varying temperatures, lots of water-slides, spa rooms, treatment rooms, kids play pools.  Perfect for a soak after a hard days boarding/ skiing, just a five minute drive from the Chalet and not to be missed.

SNOW  SHOEING  -  Strap on a fancy shoe and explore the terrain without getting stuck in the snow.  Winter hiking, really.  Get away from the hustle of the piste into the quiet of the woods. 

GO-KARTING - Local indoor go-karting in town. Fast karts, track as good as anywhere in the UK and only €5.50 per race.
