Chalet Slovakia is a large converted family home that sits in a quiet residential street overlooked by the Tatra mountains. 

We are just a stone's throw from the town square of Liptovsky Mikulas and only a 15 minute drive (all transfers included) from the largest ski resort in Central Europe.

LARGE GROUPS - For groups over 15 we have an overflow apartment across the street and a 2nd Chalet if required.


FOOD -  The local restaurant scene surprises everybody.  The food in Central Europe is a bit of an unknown but we find it superior to British grub.  Guests can eat at a different restaurant every night, all within 10 mins walk from the Chalet. Food is fresh, varied and fantastic value.

APRES - Just a short walk from Chalet Slovakia is an abundance of cosy, inexpensive restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs.  Cuisine is fresh, varied and plentiful.  Main courses vary from £4, world-renowned Czech beers from just €0.80!!  Cocktails can be purchased for €2. 

Going out on the town here is cheap, wholesome and relaxing.... nothing like the prices you have to fork out in the Alps.

The Chalet is owned and run by Clare and Dan. We are both multi-seasonnaires and experienced guides, who will be available to offer you our local expertise, information, maps, advice and potential accompaniment on any winter and summer activities throughout your stay.

OUR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY - We take present environmental issues very seriously and endeavour to do our utmost to preserve these beautiful surroundings for future generations. All paper, plastic, glass and kitchen waste is recycled and the majority of the produce we use is grown or manufactured locally. We also refrain from using cleaning products that are damaging to the environment.
