Chalet Ski Slovakia is based in the historical tourist town of Liptovsky Mikulas which sits on the edge of Slovakia's largest lake (Mara) and is surrounded by the majestic Carpathian mountains of the Tatra National Parks.

The area offers a huge variety of mountain pursuits at affordable prices - ideal for those tired of over-priced traditional ski destinations or looking for a varied, exciting and/or escorted active holiday.

ChaletSlovakia sits in a quiet street just 10 mins walk to all the local restaurants and bars in the lively town serving Jasna ski resort. Jasna is the biggest resort and ski area in Central Europe with 1000m vertical, 17 lifts, night skiing and a fantastic board park.
MORE THAN JUST A SKI HOLIDAY... In addition to the regular piste action there are hot springs, ice-hockey matches in town, indoor go-karting, x-country skiing, snowshoeing, and cave tours.
A 3 hour soak in Central Europe's' largest hot springs aqua park - just five minutes from the Chalet - is included in either our ski week or activity week holidays.

The warm summers offer an array of holiday activities. From swimming, fishing and boating on the lakes, mountain biking, hiking,  quad-biking, climbing and horse riding in surrounding National Parks, to go-carting, paintball, river-rafting, white-water kayaking, spectacular caves and Tarzania - a high wire forest experience.

We offer a tailor-made activity weeks, short breaks and long weekends to your personal preference or just simply B&B.

Chalet Slovakia is owned and run by multi-seasonnaires and experienced snowboard / mountain bike guides, Clare and Dan.  We will be here to offer you info, maps and advice on all activities throughout your stay and to share our enthusiasm and local knowledge.
